Govt announces new incentives for digital transactions

NewDelhi Feb 3: The Finance minister on Thursday has presented the budget and the FM has introduced some measures to promote digital transactions and ban cash transactions. The initiatives announced are

#Introduce 'pay as you use' basis for toll plazas and encourage fast tags for digital payments of the toll on roads
#cash payments exceeding Rs 10000 in by trusts and institutions to be disallowed and would be subject to tax.
# The government has also allocated Rs 595 crore for 2018-19 to promote digital transactions.

Many payment banks have welcomed the focus on government to promote digital transactions and said that new initiatives launched would ensure that more people would perform digital transactions.
