Eklavya Schools to be setup in Tribal Areas

New Delhi Feb 2: Finance minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday has presented the budget and has emphasisied on the education sector.The Finance Minister has announced the following initiatives for the education sector.

# An Outlay of Rs 85000 Crore has been announced
#Rs35,010 crore have been allocated for higher education
# Rs50,000 crore has been earmarked for school education.

Jaitley has said that "We have managed to get children to school but the quality of education is still a concern. Education will be treated holistically without segmentation from class nursery to 12th."

The Government has also announced 'Revitalizing Infrastructure and Systems in Education’ by 2022. FM has added that "Eklavya Schools to be setup in Tribal Areas

The FM has also announced an Integrated BA-BED course for teacher training and also announced funds for moving towards from blackboard to digital board and emphasis would be laid on technology.
