Teacher arrested for abusing girl students

Hyderabad, Jan 30 :In a cruel incident, Following the complaints regarding harassment in the school, a ZPHS maths teacher was suspended in Sangareddy district.

The details reported that, The accused, K Lingaiah, a maths teacher at a school in Shivanagar allegedly harassed girl students.

After allegations of sexual abuse surfaced against the teacher, a show-cause notice was issued and Lingaiah was immediately suspended.

Speaking in this regard, the DEO Vijaya Kumari said that an inquiry was conducted in the school and subsequent action was taken against the teacher.

The DEO said that several students raised complaints against the teacher.

A case has been registered against the accused under POSCO Act and the police have arrested him.
