TS Govt sanctions 57-gram Panchayat buildings to Wanaparthy district

Hyderabad, Jan 19: The Telangana State government has issued orders on Thursday sanctioning 57-gram panchayat buildings to Wanaparthy district.

Each building will come with a unit cost of Rs 16 lakh each. Earlier State Planning Board Vice-Chairman S Niranjan Reddy requested the State government for the sanction of new GP buildings in Wanaparthy Assembly Constituency.

In a press release, Niranjan Reddy thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for sanctioning the buildings.

Earlier, CM Chandrashekhar Rao has explained his plans to create new gram panchayats increasing their number to about 12,000 to 13,000 in the State.
