Volcano Errupts in Phillippines,34000 people rescued

Phillippines Jan 17: A dangerous and most Active Volcano in the Philippines has erupted on tuesday and the lava is currently flowing down the volcano.Sources said that more than 34,000 villagers have been rescued.

The police have also issued instructions to the tourists and have halted the people visiting the site.The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said: "the lava flowed as much as two kilometers (1.2 miles) from the often cloud-shrouded crater of Mount Mayon, while ash fell on several villages in northeastern Albay province."

The Phivolcs agency has added that "it had recorded nine more tremors, four of which accompanied lava fountains, as pressure leads to lava flows and ash plumes.the activity signified a possible hazardous eruption within weeks or even days from the near perfectly cone-shaped volcano."
