7th pay commission promised to Tripura; failed hike in other states

Tripura, Jan 09: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Sunday accused the Left Front government in Tripura of "misrule", saying that the situation in the state has gone from bad to worse and asked the people to vote them to power.

The BJP president also spoke about the issues related to pay hike of Tripura state government employees and promised to implement 7th Pay Commission as soon as they come to power in the state.

However, the finance minister is still silence on the implementation of promised 7th pay commission salary hike in other states. The same promise is being made in Tripura now, future of the promise is unknown. Jaitley has failed badly on his promise of 7th pay commission and now it is Amit Shah who is offering 7th pay commission.

"State employees are getting 4th Pay Commission. I promise that 7th Pay Commission will be granted after formation of government in Tripura," Shah said.
