ISRO to launch PSLV C-40 on Jan 12

Bengaluru Jan 8: ISRO is gearing up for its first satellite launch in 2018 and this year is crucial for the Space research organization as many key projects and launches would be launched this year.

Indian Space Research Organization is all set to launch 31 satellites, including earth observation spacecraft Cartosat, on January 12. The launch was postponed from January 10 to 12.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Public Relations Director Devi Prasad Karnik has told that "The rocket launch to carry Cartosat and other satellites, including 28 from the US and five other countries, will take place on January 12 at 9.30 a.m.There is no delay in the schedule as the earlier stated launch date of January 10 was merely tentative."

PSLV C-40 would be launched from Satish Dhawan space center in Srihari Kota of Andrapradesh.
