Yogi govt painted Haj house saffron;Repaint in White after opposition

Lucknow, Jan 07: The Haj House in Lucknow, which was painted saffron by the Yogi Adityanath government on Friday, is being repainted. The exterior walls of the building, used by Muslims as a transit place on their way to pilgrimage in Mecca, was initially green-and-white in colour.

The Uttar Pradesh government painted it in Yogi's favourite saffron color and then tried to coverup their actions by stating that extra coating of White paint made it look like saffron.

After the BJP government painted the Haj House in Uttar Pradesh's capital city yesterday, many Opposition parties and Muslims objected to the move.

The move of BJP government painting Muslim's haj house in saffron color was directly a provocation attempt, according to many parties.

Yogi has already painted schools, busses, bags and even School-book covers color to saffron.
