Loksabha passes 12 bills in the winter session

New Delhi Jan 5: The Loksabha was today Adjourned Sinedie as the winter session of the parliament was concluded on Friday.The House was Adjourned after the question hour and papers were laid on the table.

The Speaker of the House Sumitra Mahajan has announced a brief report of the session that was held from 15 Dec 2017. The Speaker has said that the Loksabha has passed 12 bills in the session. She added that "had 13 sittings spread over 61 hours and 48 minutes. The House lost about 15 hours due to disruptions and adjournments."

The important bills passed in the session include
#The central road fund (amendment) bill
#The requisitioning and acquisition of immovable property bill, the national capital territory of Delhi laws (special provisions) second (amendment) bill
#The goods and services tax (compensation to states) amendment bill.
# Muslim Women Marriage Protection bill (Bill to ban Triple talaq)
# bill to hike salaries of Supreme Court and High Court Judges
# Amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy code
