Women Protest on AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi

New Delhi, December 28: The women in Varanasi staged a protest against All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi

They burnt his effigies after he opposed the Triple Talaq Bill tabled in the Parliament by Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The groups of women were seen raising slogans against him.

earlier, Owaisi said this bill violates fundamental rights and lacks legal coherence. Owaisi, gave the notice opposing a move to criminalise triple talaq.This came after the bill to criminalise triple talaq was cleared by Union Cabinet.

Instead, The Women's supports Prime minister Modi and Uttar Pradesh Cheif Minister YOGI for introducing triple talaq bill.
