New Delhi Dec 28: The Congress leaders other opposition parties and Government leaders have agreed to end the statement of disrupting the upper house. Earlier the Rajya Sabha Chairman had held meetings with many party leaders to end the impasse after the house was disrupted for many days.

Arun Jaitley has said that "PM in his speeches didn't question, nor meant to question the commitment to this nation of either former PM Manmohan Singh or Former VP Hamid Ansari, any such perception is erroneous, we hold these leaders in high esteem, as well as their commitment to India," said senior BJP leader and Union minister Arun Jaitley today in the Rajya Sabha."

The Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad has said that "f during the elections (recent Assembly polls in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh), any member of our party gave such a statement that was against the stature of the Prime Minister, then our party dissociates itself from any such statement and we would not want any word to be said against the stature of the Prime Minister."

After the statements from both sides, all the leaders agreed to end the stalemate and the house has passed 2 bills.
