Minister Anantkumar Hegde Apologizes for his remarks on Constitution

New Delhi Dec 28: The Union Minister Anantkumar Hegde on Thursday had clarified about his statements he made about the constitution.

The minister in Loksabha had apologized for his statements and said that "My words have been twisted and presented, I never said all this… But if someone was hurt, I apologize to those members."

Earlier the Loksabha Speaker has urged the minister to issue a clarification and said that "Sometimes in life, we feel what we have said is right, but others may still get hurt".

The Minister has added that "I deeply respect the Constitution, the Parliament, and Baba Saheb Ambedkar. The Constitution is supreme for me, there can be no question on it, as a citizen I can never go against it."
