2017 : New Faces emerge in Tamilnadu politics

Mumbai Dec 24: The Year 2017 would be ending next Sunday and Tamilnadu Politics took many twists and turns this year.The Year had given rise to birth of new actors entering political sphere
and many political parties tried to fill the vacuum created due to the demise of Former CM Jayalalitha

DMK: The opposition party had chances to counter the AIADMK which was divided.However, its efforts of Dividing the Ruling party by giving support to TTV Dinakaran had failed and he had won the bypoll.

Congress: The party had lost its relevance in the state.

BJP: The National Party had tried to enter the state by any means and stood by AIADMK and made efforts to unite the party but achieved only a partial success.

Kamal Hassan has announced a new political party and has started the state tour and he has not offered support to any party

Rajinikanth: The Actor had also announced that he would enter politics but had not yet officially declared when he would join the politics and to whom he would support.

Actor Vishal had also tried to make a political move but his nomination was rejected by EC in Rk Nagar Bypoll

Finally, many people hope that 2018 would see the rise of new leaders.
