PM Modi Inaugurates Delhi Metro

New Delhi Dec 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday has inaugurated the 12 km stretch of Delhi Metro Magenta Line.The PM had also taken a ride between Botanical Garden and the Okhla Bird Sanctuary stations here.
PM was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation chief Mangu Singh during the ride.
The prime minister boarded the metro at Botanical Garden, which is the terminal station of the Magenta Line, and alighted at the Okhla Birds Sanctuary following a four-minute ride.
Officials said that the remaining stretch of metro would be completed by April 2018.Later PM had proceeded to Amity University to address a public rally.
