AP CM Chandrababu, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan extends Christmas greetings

Vijayawada, Dec 25: Christmas was celebrated with religious fervor, gaiety and devotion across the state on Monday, with prayers being offered in Churches since midnight.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu participated at Christmas prayers, held in St Paul’s Cathedral church, near Benz Circle here on Monday.

The Chief Minister recited a verse of the Bible.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM conveyed his greeting to the Christian and best wishes.

Leader of the Opposition in the AP Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy greeted the Christians in both the Telugu states on the occasion of Christmas. He exhorted them to celebrate Christmas as a festival of kindness, love and of giving.

In a release, YS Jagan, who is currently touring Kadiri Assembly Constituency as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, said the life of Jesus is a glorious example of love, compassion, tolerance, sacrifice and peaceful co-existence. He said the teachings of Jesus Christ can help humanity tread the path of righteousness.
