Bus accident: Probe launched by Transport minister- 33 killed

Rajasthan, Dec 23: After the deadly bus accident which killed 33 the transport minister Yoonus Khan launched a probe to know actual reason for the accident. He expressed his condolences over the death of 33 people.

Officials said that bus was fit to make journey and had a valid permit til 2022. The minister said: "The actual reasons of accident are being investigated. Strict steps will be taken to avoid such accidents."

He said the 25-seater bus carrying 40 passengers was going to Lalsot from Sawai Madhopur when it fell onto Banas river from a bridge in Dubbi area on Saturday.

"The state government is making all possible efforts to save every death taking place in road accidents. Death of 33 people in the accident is really very disappointing."
