BJP critizes TRS GOVT for cancellation of Science Congress event

Hyderabad Dec 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party had criticized the Ruling TRS Government for cancellation of 105th Indian Science Congress at Osmania University.

Telangana BJP Spokesperson Krishna Sagar Rao had criticized the government and said that "TRS Government has clearly proven itself to be incompetent to host the 105th World Science Congress scheduled in the first week of January at Osmania University campus. The cancellation of the event at the last hour certainly raises suspicion on the actual intention of the government."

BJP leaders have added that "Students of Osmania University would not have obstructed a grand academic event like world science congress. TRS Government seems to be working against the interest of Osmania University and its students right from the beginning of their regime".

The saffron party members have also added that "This decision also highlights the dismal situation of higher education policy and infrastructural collapse under CM KCR rule in the Telangana State. BJP strongly protests the last minute cancellation of this prestigious event causing huge confusion and loss to hundreds of delegates, who were to attend this event at Osmania University two weeks from now."
