No decision on CM post--BJP leader visit Himachal and return to Delhi

Himachal Pradesh, Dec 23: Suspense continues over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP's) choice for the Himachal Pradesh chief minister even as the Central observers of the party — defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman and rural development minister Narendra Singh Tomar-- returned to Delhi on Friday. They will now meet BJP national president Amit Shah and the party's parliamentary board to take a final decision.

On Friday, the two observers and in-charge for party affairs in Himachal, Bihar health minister Mangal Pandey, drove to the Hedgewar Bhawan, the state's RSS headquarters in Shimla's Nabha locality. Accompanied by state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti and organising secretary Pawan Rana, the group consulted Prant Pracharak, Sanjiv.

On Thursday evening, the observers had held separate meetings with former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and Seraj MLA Jai Ram Thakur.
