YSRCP alleges AP CM over Chandranna welfare Schemes

Vijayawada, Dec 19: Alleging that the Andhra Pradesh Government has been favoring corporate houses in the purchase of groceries for the Chandranna Kanukalu, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) said an inquiry into the issue would bring out the facts as to who the real beneficiary is.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, YSRCP spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said,"the state has ordered that groceries for the distribution to weaker sections under Chandranna Kanukala should be purchased from business houses that have a turnover of more than Rs 30 crore only to benefit them that have dealings with Chandrababu Naidu's family-owned company.

It is not the weaker sections that are being benefitted through the gifts as they are given the inferior quality of groceries but the contract being given to big houses, they will end up as the real beneficiaries.The beginning was made with the village malls which went to Reliance and Fortune group", he alleged.
