Need to stop Rave parties: Goa CM

Goa, December 19: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has said that There is need to stop Rave parties in The state, and adding that, those who consume drugs can dance till morning, while those who drink alcohol can dance only for two to three hours.

He spoke here on Monday in Assembly, "Without drugs, you can't dance until morning. With alcohol you can dance at the most two to three hours," he told while responding to a calling attention motion moved by Congress MLA Pratapsingh Rane on the need to crack down on the drug mafia in Goa.

The state government is also trying to set up or make active de-addiction centers," he said.

He also said that the state government is planning to launch an online portal, where people can file complaints about drugs and their name would be kept confidential.
