Traffic Restrictions issued during President visit to WTC

Hyderabad, Dec 19: The Hyderabad traffic police has ordered certain restrictions on the movement of vehicles to regulate traffic for the visit of President Ram Nath Kovind to attend the closing ceremony of World Telugu Conference on December 19 and 20.

In a press release, the Hyderabad police said that traffic will either be stopped or diverted from 3pm to 3.40pm from Begumpet airport to Raj Bhavan. The restrictions will be on the route - Begumpet airport, PNT junction, Shyam Lal building, HPS, Begumpet flyover, Greenland junction, CM'S camp office, Monappa Island, Yashodha hospital, MMTS, Raj Bhavan, V.V. statue.

From 4.35pm to 5.15pm, the restriction will be there for motorists from Raj Bhavan, V.V. statue, Shadan College, Nirankari, old PS Saifabad, Ravindra Bharathi, PCR junction, A.R petrol pump, LB stadium.

On Wednesday, traffic will not be allowed from Raj Bhavan to Hussainsagar Lake from 9.45am to 10.45am since the President is going to visit the Buddha statue by boat.
