Congress on decline since 2014

Himachal Dec 18: BJP had won in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh and the party workers have celebrated all across the country.However, the Congress has lost a ruling state in the country because of corruption issues.

Currently, Congress has lost many states after 2014 elections as PM Modi has given a call Congress Mukth Bharat. Currently, congress is ruling only in 4 states such as Karnataka, Punjab, Meghalaya, and Mizoram.

Currently, regional parties such as TRS is in power in Telangana,BJD - Odisha, TMC-Westbengal and AIADMK- Tamilnadu and Communist Party in Tripura and Kerala.

The elections for Karnataka, Meghalaya, Mizoram would be held in 2018 and the BJP is campaigning spearheadedly on the developmental Agenda.

Sources said that Congress may face a tough fight in Karnataka as BJP had the majority of Lok Sabha seats.
