CM KCR  urges teachers to play a greater role in promoting Telugu Language

Hyderabad Dec 16: The World Telugu Conference was Grandly Inaugurated by Vice President M Venkiah Naidu on Friday and the conference would be held for 5 days.Governor of Telangana and AP E.S.L. Narasimhan and Maharashtra Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and other dignitaries were also present at the inaugural function. The dignitaries lit the lamp and inaugurated the conference.

Speaking on the Occasion Cheif Minister KCR has recalled various eminent personalities who have flourished Telugu literature and Improvement for telugu language . The CM had recited telugu poetry ,songs and 'Shathakams' written by literary giants from Telangana region.



Later he said that " Teachers are architects of modern society and urged them to shun the old philosphy that 'Bathakalekaha badi panthula ayinnatu'(People become teachers because they dont know other works) and urged them to create new age poets, writers and literary works in Telugu language."

He assured that the problems of Telugu Language pandits would be solved in 10 days.Finally he hoped that the" deliberations, to be held during the five-day conference, would help in promotion and growth of Telugu language. "
