Uma Madhava Reddy and her son Sandeep Reddy quits TDP

Hyderabad, Dec 13: The Senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former minister Uma Madhava Reddy and her son and Bhuvanagiri district TDP President Sandeep Reddy have submitted the resignation letters to The TDP.

The duo is set to embrace the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS). Her son and Bhuvanagiri district TDP President Sandeep Reddy will also join the TRS along with Ms Reddy at Telangana Bhavan, the TRS headquarters in the Banjara Hills area of the city, on December 14.

The followers of the two leaders are also expected to join the TRS along with them. Ms. Madhav Reddy and her son met TRS supremo and Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao at his official residence here on Tuesday and discussed the district politics with him (Mr.Rao).

They expressed their willingness to be the partners in the state's development process under the leadership of Mr.Rao, according to the party sources
