Construction on District Collectorates soon : Tummala Nageswara Rao

Hyderabad Dec 5: In a move to ensure decentralization of Administration the government has initiated construction of Collectorates in all 21 new districts which were formed and some old districts.

Minister for Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao said that "The Roads and Buildings department has called tenders for the construction of 26 new district Collectorates."

"Works have been assigned for 18 Collectorates and they have been fast-tracked. Land acquisition is yet to be taken up for four district Collectorates, and there are another four districts where we have completed land acquisition but works are yet to take off due to other issues."Minister added

Later he has urged the officials to speed up the construction works after the tenders are issued.
