Awards are influenced by the Telugu Desam: Producers

Hyderabad, November 19: There are huge allegations on the Nandi Awards which were presented by the Andhra Pradesh State Govt a few days back, Many of the top directors have acclaimed the negligence by the State Govt.

It also included the Best Film which has generated a massive debate over the fairness or lack of it, among all the section of the audience.

We knew that Tollywood Nata Simham Balakrishna's film Legend (2014) has got so many awards in the event, in this regard the actor responded in an event.



he simply said that the movie deserved it for all the hard work of the team. The title Legend itself is not ordinary. There has been a lot of controversy on the film ever since the title got announced. Our work did all the talk rather than we talking about it, clarified the star.

Producer Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) opines that these awards are one-sided and community-based. "If you look at the majority of the winners, you can clearly understand that the Kamma community is being lobbied," says the producer. Many others have commented that the awards are influenced by the Telugu Desam (TD) while some say that the jury is trying to impress Balakrishna.
