World Toilet Day-Awareness plays a key role

In India Swacch Bharath a cleanliness campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone momentum. The campaign was launched to improve the sanitation and hygiene across the country especially Rural Areas.Under the scheme, funds are released for construction of toilet in households.

Currently, Toilets /lavatory/Washroom places a crucial role in maintaining one's health of a person.Some experts predict that one character can be decided based on the way he uses the toilet.Currently, in many villages, People still go out and defecate in the name of natural calls. Many women find it difficult unlike men to solve their natural calls so they wait till dark . However Many people have not objected this system.



Many people don't know that open defecation is the main reason for health problems such as diarohea and other diseases which lead to the death of a newborn , sometimes people huge amount on the treatment of diseases which are unevitable. Open defecation is also responsible for contamination of water and breeding of mosquitos and it also causes pollution.

Earlier too many governments have allocated funds for construction of toilets but there was little progress as people showed little interest and many have not started using their toilets which forced the officials to cut down the number of toilets built.

World toilet day is celebrated on Nov 19 to bring about awareness among people to construct more toilets so that their health is maintained.
