Union Cabinet crucial decesions

New Delhi Nov 11: The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Modi has taken crucial decisions yesterday.

# Appointment of Second National Judicial Pay Commission (SNJPC)

The cabinet has approved the appointment of SNJPC to recommend the increase in salaries of subordinate judiciary working in the countries. This would benefit 21,000 judges. The committee would be headed by Justice P venkatram Reddy.

# Restructuring National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP)

The cabinet has approved the continuing and restructuring of National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) to make it outcome-based, competitive and better monitored with an increased focus on sustainability of schemes to ensure good quality service delivery to the rural population. A total fund of Rs 23,051 cr would be spent on the scheme.

# Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre at Dwarka, New Delhi.

The cabinet has approved the establishment of an Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre at Dwarka, New Delhi. Rs 25,703 crore would be spent for construction of the building.
