Telangana Revenue drops out due Demonetization

Hyderabad, November 24 : The Revenue of Telangana state has been dropped out approximately Rs. 3000 crore on this financial year due to demonetization.

Due to the revenue loss of Rs. 540 crore for every month, the central government team met the state to study the response of demonetization. The Chief secretary Rajiv sharma and his team submitted a brief description on demonetization and he demanded that there is a need of RBI team to supply the 500 notes immediately in a couple of days.

He had requested the central govt that the November salaries of state government employees should approximately paid at atleast 10,000 in the form of cash.

And he also said that spot procedure is needed to pay pension to beneficiaries under Govt schemes. The central sales tax offers reduction due to tide over of this criteria.

Telangana officials recommended that there should be center to buy all the input materials of farmers.

They also proposed to increase the extension limit in order to exchange the old currency notes beyond November 24th.
