NIT student commits suicide in Patna

Patna, Nov 9: Here is drastic incident has occurred while a final-year B.Tech student of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) here allegedly committed suicide in his private lodge in Patna on Wednesday.

The information reported that The deceased identified as Surender P Parthi, an Information Technology (IT) student from Karimnagar in Telangana, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room in Mahendru locality, close to the Institute.

Surender had been picked up through campus selection by a reputed IT company.

According to a preliminary investigation, Surender was very tense on Tuesday evening while talking to a colleague on the mobile phone. He was also seen watching TV till late into the night by his neighbors.

The police have informed his family about the shocking incident.
