Sri Sri Hits back at Congress, Ayodhya settlement soon: UP Shia Board

Lucknow Nov 7: In a process to settle the Ayodhya dispute faster the Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board on Tuesday has said that it would prepare a draft proposal for a peaceful settlement of the Ayodhya dispute by December 6, the day the Babri Mosque was demolished in 1992.

Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi said "he would visit Ayodhya this month to meet seers and mahants. I have already discussed terms and conditions with many of them and some petitioners for the draft proposal for an agreement to settle the dispute mutually".

Rizvi last month met Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Bangalore and apprised him of the Board's stand on a Ram temple at the site.

Meanwhile, Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar has reacted to the allegations made against him by the Congress that he was acting as a government agent and was representing BJP views.

The guru has said that "I have always worked on my own and I am not working at the instance of anybody.I have already been doing this work".

Finally, he has said that "If I take a stand, how can I meditate. I will look at whether we can find a solution by bringing all the stakeholders together through dialogue."
