Rahul Gandhi: No party member should make personal attack on Modi

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has reportedly advised party leaders not to make any personal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the campaign for 2017 Gujarat Assembly elections.

Rahul Gandhi has even issued a written instruction to all leaders regarding this said in-charge of party affairs in Gujarat and former Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot .

“Considering the dignity of Prime Minister’s post, no such statement should be made against him. Rahul has also asked Congress leaders to refrain themselves from making any remark which could tarnish party’s image,” Gehlot asserted

“This is a fight between truth and falsehood. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the police, the Army as well as the government in Gujarat, Centre, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and many other states. However, despite of all this, the Congress is going to win the Gujarat elections because we have truth on our side,” the Congress VP had stated while addressing a rally in the Pardi district, on Novermber 3rd.
