CM KCR :RS 25 lakh ex-Gratia for MRPS Activist Bharthi family

Hyderabad Nov 6: In a tragic incident, a Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) woman activist lost her life while staging a dharna at Hyderabad Collectorate today.

The woman was identified as Bharathi.Many MRPS activists have staged protests for SC categorization.She fell down after police tried to lift her and later she was Police said that She was immediately shifted to nearby Osmania General Hospital in a police jeep and the doctors stated that she died of heart attack.



Meanwhile, the Opposition parties have raised this issue in the Telangana Assembly. CM KCR has responded to the death of the activist and announced Rs 25 Lakh Exgratia for the family of the activist. He has also said a government inquiry would be conducted.

Later he said that I was one among them who fought for SC categorisation and I would meet PM Modi and discuss this issue.

Finally, he said that it is very sad that an activist has died when the assembly session is going on.
