Facebook Messenger also faces temporary outage

New Delhi, November 04: Facebook Messenger, an instant messaging service and software application, has on Saturday reportedly faced temporary outage as users in many parts of the world are unable to send or receive messages.

It is a second major incident of similar nature within 24 hours as another popular freeware and cross-platform instant messaging service for smartphones, WhatsApp, has also been hit with the temporary suspension of 30 minutes.

According to reports from multiple users on Twitter on Saturday, a lot of accounts were not able to send or receive any messages. A few users reported that they cannot even see the older messages, but a few could see the message history.
