Couple commits suicide, No cash to clear health issues

Hyderabad, Nov 4: In a tragic incident, A couple was ended their lives by consuming poison at their residence in Nizampet. The details reported that the deceased was identified as Adapa Gauri, 40, a housewife, who had consumed poison along with her husband Raghunandan, 45, over health issues, died early on Friday.

According to the police, the woman was suffering from cancer and the family had spent huge amount of money on her treatment. Deprived of cash, the couple decided to end their lives. On Monday, the couple consumed poison at their house in Nizampet and were rushed to the Gandhi Hospital by their relatives.

The man died on Wednesday while the woman succumbed early on Friday. The police registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC and handed over the bodies to relatives after conducting a postmortem.
