CM KCR about crop loan waiver in TS Assembly

Hyderabad, Nov 2: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao addressed the issue of crop loan waiver in Telangana Assembly on Thursday.

Speaking in this regard, he said that the TRS government is committed to the welfare of farmers and has already fulfilled the assurance of waiving Rs 16,000 crore crop loan to farmers.



KCR said that the farmers in Telangana have sown cotton in 48 lakh acres and informed the Centre fixing Minimum Support Price to the superior quality of cotton as well as for the inferior quality.

The Chief Minister advised the Opposition members in the Assembly not to provoke farmers to stage protest against the government on MSP.
