Superbug Bacteria-Ressistant to Antibiotics

Nowadays so many people expect capsules, tablets will treat all the diseases.When they consult doctor they want capsules prescription because it is deep-rooted in their thoughts these capsules containing antibiotics would cure the illness.

The Antibiotics were released into the market after Alexender Flaming accidentally discovered pencillin and it was later used to cure many diseases.later the usage of Antibiotics have increased significantly as these drugs were developed at a vast scale and were available at a cheaper price. Curently 6th generation of Antibiotics are available in the market.

Anything used beyond a certain level is not good is perfectly applicable to these antibiotics also.Excessive use of these drugs has resulted in the development of resistance towards bacteria and this has resulted in the occurrence of side effects to patients.

These days doctors are suggesting heavy doses of antibiotics for small ailments which may not be called for.Sometimes patients may take antibiotics based on self-prescription which may also lead to loss of immunity in people.

Currently, doctors have discovered that excessive use of antibiotics has resulted in the development of superbugs which are resistant and these may destroy the other useful bacteria which are used for the production of drugs.

Antibiotics don't cure diseases caused because of Virus such as flu, cold and some fevers , etc.However some people use antibiotics for the virus diseases which may not be called off.

Scientists too expressed a similar opinion and said that it is the duty of the doctors to ensure that antibiotics are used at a minimum dosage and patients are educated about ill effects of self-medication so that their life can be extended.
