Prices of vegetables Sky Rocket, people throng Rythu bazars

Vizianagaram, Oct 31: The prices of vegetables in the local market have risen abnormally as the production of the vegetables came down drastically. Currently, the prices are as follows:

# Tomatoes Rs. 80 KG in the open market and Rs.50 in Rythu bazaars.

# Brinjals, beans, beetroot prices have also increased.

# Ladyfingers are Rs.40 per kg.

# Ribbed gourd is around Rs.60-70 in open market and Rs 40 at Rythu Bazar

# Bitter guard Rs.40 per Kg



# Price of carrot is Rs.80 in Rythu Bazar and its crossed Rs.100 in open market.

# Tank fish is available at Rs. 120 per kilogram

# unbranded fish is available for Rs. 40, Rs.50 also.

However, the prices of Eggs remained stable.

Many consumers are worried about the increase in prices.However, officers have said that poor weather conditions have led to decrease in the production which led to increasing in prices.they hope that the prices would be reduced by next week as the supply increases.
