AP Health Minister inaugurated Community Health Centre (CHC)

Vishakapatnam, Oct 29: The Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas has inaugurated a 30-bed Community Health Centre (CHC) with a cost of Rs. 4.34 crore at Pendurty in the city on Saturday. The Minister laid the foundation stones for two main roads to be laid at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore.

While speaking on the occasion, the Minister had appealed the people to utilize the government medical services. The government hospitals are rendering excellent treatment on par with private hospitals, he pointed out.

The Minister directed the medical staff and doctors to create a pleasant atmosphere in the hospitals. With the behavior of the doctors and staff, the people would believe in treatment in the government hospitals, he said.

While presiding over the meeting, Pendurty MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy urged the Health Minister to sanction CM Health Centres in Sabbavaram and Pendurty.

MP, Anakapalle M Srinivasa Rao sanctioned Rs 10 lakh from his MPLADS funds to procure one ambulance attaching to the new community health center, Pendurty.

In-charge Collector G Srijana and DMHO Ramesh were present.
