Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Steps in to end Ram Temple Dispute

The Construction of Ram Mandir/Temple at Ayodhya has became a hot topic for discussion as there are reports that Spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has shown his interest to put an end to the dispute. Currently, the matter is pending in the Supreme court and the apex court has said that it would start hearing the case from December 5.

Earlier the top court has suggested that it would be better if both the parties Hindus and Muslims could settle the dispute by out of court mediation. These remarks have paved the way for spiritual leader and Art of Living Founder Ravi Shankar to come forward to solve the matter.

Currently, many hindus believe that Lord Rama Existed in Ayodhya and his temple was later demolished and Muslims have built Babri Masjid.BJP leader Advani has carried out a rathayathra in 1990-91 period and gathered the support and resources for building the temple and later some people have demolished Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992.

The Allahabad High court in its judgement has ordered that the site can be divided into 3 parts and allowed the Hindus to Build Ram Temple at the site.Later a case was filed in Supreme Court challenging the High court verdict.

The Ruling BJP MP Subramanyam Swamy has welcomed the efforts made by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in this regard and he was willing to cooperate.Congress party has also supported the efforts by the spiritual guru.

However, the Guru may face some challenges in working out a solution in this matter and many people currently feel that it would be better that a permanent solution would be found via out of court in a peaceful manner so that communal clashes doesn't arise once again over the construction of the temple.
