TDP existence to end in Telangana?

The existence of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the Telangana state has become doubtful after the exit of one of the firebrand leader Revanth Reddy from the party. There are reports that he has quit the party to join the Congress party and he has criticised his own party leaders for not fighting the TRS government.

Telugu Desam party was established in 1982 By NTR a popular actor and he became the Cheif Minister after he won the elections in 1983.later he has given life to many local leaders especially from backward classes.the CM has carried out many reforms and one of them was Abolition of Patel-Patwari system which has empowered BC.

However, the party became weak during the agitation movement of the separate state as present Telangana CM KCR who was once a minister in TDP government has formed a separate party TRS. The stand adopted by Present AP CM Chandrababu Naidu that both regions of the state are two eyes for me (Two eyes theory) has created a backlash and party has secured few seats in the state in 2014.

After the bifurcation of the state, the AP CM couldn't focus much on strengthening the party in the Telangana region because of his busy schedule as AP CM and many leaders have joined the
ruling party as they were out of power for 10 years.

Recently the main leader Revanth has realized that it would be difficult for him to increase his popularity and rise to higher levels if he stayed in TDP party so he decided to quit the party. Finally, many leaders left out in TTDP are mulling to join congress or TRS party and it may see the end of TDP party in Telangana state.
