Hardik Patel gives ultimatum to the Congress

Hardik Patel, the Patidar leader, has given an ultimatum to the Congress, to take a stand on the reservation or face consequence. The news was that Hardik is going to support Congress in Gujarat Assembly election and Hardik too made a hint at that but on condition of reservation for Patidars.

Posting a message on Twitter, Hardik Patel said that the Congress better make its stand on ensuring constitutional reservation for Patidars clear by November 3, or else the party would face the kind of situation Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah found himself in.

While Hardik did not clarify what he meant by the 'Amit Shah situation' the Patidar leader seemed to be referring to rampage and vandalising done by patel youngsters in Amit Shah's rallies.

On September 8, Amit Shah was in Surat to meet with leaders of the Patidar community when Patel agitators when on a rampage, shouting pro-Hardik Patel slogans and vandalising furniture. Then on October 1, Patel agitators again tried disrupting Amit Shah's Gujarat Gaurav Yatra in Karmsad,
