KCR says, Opposition maligning TRS, Modi govts

Hyderabad: The Telangana Chief Minister KCR came out in the base of the Narendra Modi government on the unemployment issue in the Legislative Assembly on Friday.

He incriminated the Opposition parties for maligning the TRS government in the state and the Modi government at the Centre for not providing jobs to youth as promised in the 2014 elections.

The Chief Minister stated... the Opposition parties were deceiving the students by alleging that the TRS and BJP had promised to provide government jobs but failed to do so even after three years.

No more leasing on contract, KCR asserts in Assembly:

"It's impossible for any government to provide government jobs to all. Jobs means jobs in both government and private sectors. But they are detracting the state and central government by claiming that we promised government jobs to all," he said.

He announced that there will not be any more contract/ outsourcing recruitment by the Telangana government, which would from this point provide only permanent employment.

He said previous TD and Congress governments had aided the contract/outsourcing system since 1996 and oppressed thousands of employees by paying measure salaries even though they had two decades of work experience and delivered results on meaning with the regular employees.

"When the TRS government is trying to regularise their services and pay them salaries on equivalence with regular staff, the Opposition parties are filing cases in courts and retarding their regularisation. To overcome this, we have recently increased their salaries without waiting for regularisation to be done," he said.

Following an advice by MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, the CM insured the House that the government will implement quotas meant for BCs, SCs, STs, and minorities. "We will ensure that all reservations are strictly implemented during regularisation," the CM said.
