Fire broke out in Machilipatnam Express, no casualities reported

Hyderabad, Oct 28: In a major mishap Fire broke out in the engine of Machilipatnam express on Friday night which was immediately doused and no casualties were reported. The Sources said that the Fire broke out in the engine when the train reached Indupalli Railway Station at 10.30 pm. The driver of the train alerted the authorities immediately.

Officials have ordered the Passengers traveling in the first two compartments behind the engine were asked to step down as a part of the rescue operation and firefighting department immediately swung into action.

Railway police have suspected that fire broke out due to a short circuit and further investigation is on. officials have said that currently, all trains are running as per schedule and no train service has been affected.
