Economy In ICU says Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, October 26: Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi has slammed the BJP and said that Indian economy is in the "ICU" because of the Demonetisation and latest Goods and Service Tax.

"Dear Jaitley, due to demonetization and GST, the economy is in ICU (Intensive Care Unit). You say that is no less from anyone but even your remedies are not effective," Gandhi said in a tweet.




A few days back, the Congress had termed the GST the 'Gabbar Singh Tax,' alleging it was aimed at grabbing people's hard-earned money. In response, the BJP had charged that "those habitual of 2G and coal block scams, will have objections to legitimate tax."
