UP CM Visits Taj Mahal

New Delhi, October 26: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Taj Mahal here on Thursday

Around 14,000 policemen have been deployed across the city for the visit of Yogi Adityanath. He is also the first UP CM to visit Taj Mahal.

Adityanath reached Kheria technical airport in the morning and later took part in a cleanliness drive near the Western Gate of the Taj Mahal. He visited the main mausoleum of the marble monument shortly after noon.

People greeted him with the chants of "Vande Mataram" and "Bharat Mata ki Jai".

The visit assumes significance in the wake of controversial statements made by BJP MLA Sangeet Som and MP Vinay Katiyar against the 'monument of love'.
