Terrorist Loot Rs 5 lakh from Kashmir Bank

Anantnag OCT 12: A robbery took place in Jammu and Kashmir Bank.A Group of terrorists have looted over Rs five lakh from Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Anantnag district on Thursday.

In another incident, terrorists threw a grenade in the vicinity of a beauty parlor in Pulwama Main Chowk and one girl was injured in this incident.

The police have not yet registered a case and further details in both the incidents are awaited.

Recently there has been a rise in the robbery of banks in the state and many of them were killed by the army and state police and cash was recovered from them after Prime Minister Modi last year has announced demonetisation to eliminate terrorist funding, reduce black money.

Meanwhile, Arun Jaitley on several occasions has said that note ban has squeezed terrorist funding and as result incidents of robbery are taking place.
