Losing his foot wear, man lodged a complaint in the Police station

Pune, October 10: We cannot complain that police is slow in taking necessary action, especially after this bizarre incidents. On October 3, Vishal Kalekar, a resident of Rakshewadi in Khed tehsil of Pune district went to the police to file a FIR as his brand new sandal was stolen from outside his apartment.

The police took it seriously and on-duty officer YM Gaikwad registered a case of theft under section 379 of IPC against unidentified persons. Kalekar lives on the third floor of Palash Residency apartment on the Takalkarwadi Road in Khed, the official added.

"We have registered an offense of theft in this case and our probe is on," Pradeep Jadhav, Inspector of Khed police station told to media.
