Mudragada was house arrested by police generals

Andhra Pradesh NOV 16 : Mudragada Padmanabham , leader of Kapu community was house arrested on Tuesday on the issue of Satyagraha Padayatra in East Godavari district . His intension in aiming satyagraha padayatra was to add kapus in to BC'S.

The house arrest was taken place when Mudragada accompanying with Kapu Joint Action Committee leaders set out to Ravulapalem ,then the police has said that he was house arrested for next 48 hours.

He said that the state was ruling by a dictator and people were trying to free thmselves fom that dictator. Almost 25 DSPs, 50 inspectors and 3,000 police came from different districts to konasema.

N. Sambasivarao the Director General has already announced that if Mudragada did not take permission for his protest, the police would go by the court guidelines and take strict action on him .

Then Mudragada quipped like that he was not in the habit of taking police permission for his protests . As the police did not get any signs from the high court, to stop the satyagraha padayatra, made it clear that citizens right to dissent cannot be suppressed.

To prevent the violence during padayatra , the court observed that it was the duty of the government to maintain law and order .

When Mudragada's meeting at Tuni turned violent keeping it in mind to avoid violence in satyagraha padayatra 1,500 police personnel were deployed in Ravulapalem.
