Railway Ministry issues guidelines to end VIP Culture

New Delhi Oct 8: In yet another move to end excessive protocol and VIP Culture the Railway Ministry has issued guidelines for senior officials.

"Guidelines have been established to end the excessive protocol, where the unauthorized workers have been asked to resume their duties," a railway official told media.

The guidelines issued include reliving of railway staff who have been working as domestic help in the homes of all senior officials.They have also said that this move would relive 3000-4000 workers.

Earlier new Railway Board Chairman Ashwani Lohani had said that "giving of gifts and bouquets should be stopped. Any kind of excessive protocol, gifts, excessive celebration will end and officials have been asked to focus solely be on their work".

Many low-level officers have hailed the move and said that this move would ensure that there excessive duty at the senior officials would be a thing of past.
